In conjunction with Mark Stennett Photography, we run entry level courses in both Photography and Adobe Photoshop® throughout the year.
Photography Courses
This course is designed for new but keen photographers who want to understand a lot more about how their camera works and then to use that knowledge to greatly improve their photography.
During the course we not only teach you about your camera, but also important aspects of photography such as composition, design and understanding the importance of light. We also explore different types of photography such as portraiture, landscape, environmental portraiture and travel.
Adobe Photoshop Courses
This course provides a solid introduction to new users of Adobe Photoshop ®, the program of choice of most professional photographers. During the course we focus on not only improving the quality of your digital photos but also learning to creatively manipulate photos to enhance them artistically, or just to have a bit of fun. You are required to provide your own laptop with Adobe Photoshop loaded.
Courses duration and timings
Evening and day courses each consist of 12 contact hours over two weeks. Day course run from 11:00am to 2:00pm each Tuesday and Thursday for 2 weeks. Evening courses run from 6:30pm to 9:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 2 weeks. Courses held at the Hog’s Breath Café at Chijmes.

The course will be held in the Pig Pen room at the Hogs Breath Café, Chijmes, 30 Victoria Street. Tel 6338 1387.
Cost
The courses cost $215 per person for ANZA members, $260 per person for non ANZA members. There will be food and beverages (teas/coffees etc) available at your own expense.

Courses will run for 3 hours on a Tuesday and Thursday, over a 2 week period. Total course contact time is 12 hours. (4 sessions of 3 hours)
