ANZA Athletics meets at Serangoon Stadium, 35 Yio Chu Kang Road on a Friday night 5pm. It commences Friday 3 September 2010 and concludes in April 2011.

To participate, children must be five years old by 1 September, 2010, and no older than 14 years of age at time of registration. The track events offered are 70m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1100m, 1500m and hurdles. The field events are long, triple and high jump, shot put and discus.

At ANZA Athletics the children compete only against themselves, and are rewarded with medals and ribbons at the end of the season. ANZA Athletics caters for those who are out to have fun and improve, and also for those who are already very good.

Parents play a large role in ANZA Athletics - in fact they run it. Every week parents are needed to keep records, organise equipment, act as timekeepers and generally keep the events running smoothly. Our roster system requires parents to help every alternate week. If you're extremely keen we can, of course, find you a job every week!

Over the years, ANZA Athletics has proved to be a friendly way for families to take part in athletics. The lack of intense competition allows all the children to improve their performances, and consequently increase their self-esteem. The cost for the season is $270 per child.

The 2010-2011 Season will commence on Friday 3 September 2010.
